This shoot was done for a long time friend of mine! Elizabeth and I grew up together so I was delighted with her asking me to shoot her first family session! Congrats on baby Finley guys, she is beautiful!!

ps and a special shout out to my gracious strong brave awesome fantastic beautiful mother, who watched all my babies for 3 hours while I did this session the other night! Whew!

playing with LightRoom 3

Ok so humor me if you can. Check out these cool images I took of my family at Dauphin Island off the coast of Alabama last Spring. This was right after the oil spill. Its still beautiful out there! Im dying to go back, especially after this brutal weather we have had today. I got LightRoom 3 and am currently learning how to use it. So like I said, humor me. I loved the cool creamy tones on these images. Very beachy ;) And yes, that is hay on the beach..supposed to have caught all tar balls from the oil spill.

Had a really great shoot with Dominic on Saturday at Giggles Studio. I particularly love the shot of him in his dad's sunglasses with the reflection of me getting the shot of him and his parents standing in the background! LOL Ya gotta look close, but its there.

American Girl Fashion Show

My photog friend Michelle Swierczek asked me to assist her with the American Girl Fashion Show last weekend. Here are some of my favorites from that event. These girls were way too cute and super excited to be in the show. I was glad I got to be a part of it, and now want to start collecting them for my daughter. Might wait a few years before investing though ;)

Kayla's Newborn Session

Kayla is such a beautiful baby girl, I was pretty excited to do this newborn shoot. I asked my mom for the baby doll bed that I used to play with as a child. Its actually about 100 years old now. So Im thinking maybe I wasnt the only one who used to play with it. It turns out that it worked out really well for Kayla's pictures! I hope you enjoy these, but probably not as much as myself and her mom do ;) Thanks Jill!
